The First Expert Review (Final) Meeting for The Group Standard "Specifications for After-sales Service of Bathroom Industry Products"
On July 17, 2025, in Foshan, the core area of China's bathroom industry, the highly anticipated first expert review (final review) meeting for the group standard "After-sales Service Specification for Bathroom Industry Products" was grandly held at the China Ceramic Bathroom Headquarters. This meeting gathered many authoritative leaders, experts, and representatives from bathroom enterprises within the industry to jointly conduct the final review and voting on the group standard.

This group standard was led by the China Building Materials Market Association and the Foshan Bathroom Sanitary Ware Industry Association, jointly involving multiple bathroom sanitary ware manufacturers, distributors, after-sales service agencies, and related inspection institutions in its drafting. The participating companies include industry leaders as well as representative small and medium-sized enterprises, ensuring the standard comprehensively reflects the actual situation and needs of the industry. The main drafters include industry experts, technical backbones of enterprises, and after-sales service management personnel, who, with their rich experience in bathroom sanitary ware product R&D, production, sales, and after-sales service, provided solid professional technical support and practical experience for the standard formulation.
During the formulation process, the drafting team first conducted data collection and research, extensively gathering relevant domestic and international standards, regulations, and industry information, deeply analyzing the current status and development trends of after-sales service in the bathroom sanitary ware industry. Through on-site visits to numerous enterprises, distributing questionnaires, and in-depth communication with consumers, detailed first-hand information was obtained to lay a solid foundation for the standard formulation. Then, entering the draft preparation stage, based on GB/T 1.1 - 2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents" and combined with the actual industry situation, the drafting team carefully prepared the draft standard. The draft comprehensively stipulates the basic requirements, service content, service guarantees, service quality management, and service evaluation and improvement of after-sales service in the bathroom sanitary ware industry.
At this expert review (final review) meeting, participants conducted in-depth discussions on various clauses of the standard. After thorough review and communication, a consensus was reached, and the group standard "After-sales Service Specification for Bathroom Industry Products" was approved. The approval of this standard is of great significance; it will provide clear and unified standards for after-sales service in the bathroom industry, guiding after-sales service from ambiguity to clarity, from arbitrariness to standardization, effectively enhancing consumer satisfaction and trust, and helping the industry establish a good reputation. In the context of increasingly fierce competition and continuously upgrading consumer demands, this standard will become an important guide leading the industry towards standardized, normalized, and high-quality development, enabling the bathroom industry to gain broader development space in the global market competition.
